About Us

About our Offices:

Our main office is located inside the Regus Offices in beautiful downtown Victoria, just steps from the inner harbour. We have a second satellite location on the Westshore (Colwood) in the Coastal Offices. Both of our offices are considered welcome and supportive safe spaces to everyone, no matter who you are. We look forward to seeing you, and we hope you do as well.

About the Practice:

VLG Counselling was originally started by Veronica Greer in Oak Bay in the spring of 2019. The practice was started with the specific intent of being able to provide specialized therapy and supports to the LGBTQ2SIA+ and Neurodivergent communities while being a safe space for anyone who needs it. Now, we have grown to have several counselling therapists, and a support staff member in our practice, and we can’t wait to continue growing.

We have had several student therapists in our practice, and we hope to hire some permanent therapists as our client-base continues to grow. Since March of 2023, we have been located at our downtown office at 535 Yates Street (in the Regus offices), with a satellite location on the Westshore for those who need it.

Our Expansions:

In September we launched our Home Support Services division which provides services for people who are living independently and in need of supports at home (CLBC funding, or Autism BC funding is accepted).

Our practice is happy to provide a variety of services including trauma counselling, relationship therapy, gender and sexuality counselling, DBT skills groups, career counselling and planning services, Grief and Loss support groups, and more services being added as needed.

We are grateful and proud to be located on on the traditional and unceded territories of the Lkwungen (Lekwungen), Songhees, Esquimalt and WSANEC peoples. We recognise the harms of racism and colonisation, and actively work to decolonise approaches to mental health and healthcare.
